Day 1: Bengaluru - Srirangapatna - Mysuru (160 Kms/4 Hrs Drive)

Upon arrival at Bengaluru (Bangalore) airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Mysore. On the way, you'll visit the Shri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangapatna situated on the banks of the Cauvery River, renowned for its intricate architecture and historical significance. After exploring the temple, continue your journey to Mysore. Check in at your hotel upon arrival and unwind from your travels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Mysore

After breakfast at the hotel, start your day with a visit to the Kesava Temple in Somnathpur, renowned for its exquisite Hoysala architecture. Next, head to Mysore Zoo, one of India’s oldest and most popular zoos, known for its diverse collection of animals and well-maintained grounds. Continue your tour with a visit to the Mysore Palace, where you can admire the opulent Golden Throne displayed in the Durbar Hall. Next, make your way to Chamundi Hills to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, which offers panoramic views of the city. Finally, visit St. Philomena's Church, an impressive Gothic-style church and one of the largest in India. Later in the evening, visit Brindavan Gardens, a major attraction near Mysore. The highlight of the gardens is the musical fountain, where bursts of water are synchronized to enchanting music. Enjoy the mesmerizing display and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mysuru - Namdroling - Coorg (125 Kms/2.5 Hrs Drive)

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive towards Coorg. Along the way, stop at the Namdroling Monastery, also known as the Golden Temple. This Tibetan Buddhist monastery is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage in the world and features stunning Tibetan art and serene surroundings. Later continue your drive towards Coorg, upon arrival check into your hotel. Later head-out for half day sightseeing of Coorg, Begin with a visit to Raja’s Seat, a picturesque garden with seasonal flowers and charming fountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Next, explore the Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique blend of Islamic and Hindu architectural styles. Continue your tour with a visit to Madikeri Fort, a historical landmark, and then head to Mandalpatti for breathtaking panoramic views, also visit Raja’s Tomb and conclude your day with a visit to the cascading Abbey Falls. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: At Coorg (Excursion trip to Dubare Elephant Camp)

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for an exciting excursion to Dubare Elephant Camp. This renowned camp is known for training elephants for the Mysore Dussehra celebrations. At Dubare Elephant Camp, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in various activities with these majestic animals. Participate in a memorable experience by giving the elephants a bath in the River Kaveri, a 45-minute activity where you can interact closely with the elephants. Additionally, a naturalist will provide insights into the history, ecology, and biology of elephants, enriching your understanding of these fascinating creatures. Return to your hotel in Coorg for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Coorg - Brahmagiri - Nagarhole (150 Kms/4.5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, head to Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park. En route, stop at the Brahmagiri Mountain Range to marvel at Iruppu Waterfalls, one of Kodagu's most stunning sights and premier attraction. Later, Upon arriving at Nagarhole, check in at the resort for some relaxation. In the afternoon, Enjoy a jeep safari through the park, where you might spot diverse wildlife including Tigers, Black Panthers, Elephants, Indian bison, spotted deer, common wolf snakes, and Malabar grey hornbills. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 6: Nagarhole - Bengaluru (225 Kms/5 Hrs) & Departure

Early in the morning, embark on a boat safari on the Kabini River for a unique chance to observe diverse wildlife, including Tigers, Black Panthers, Elephants, Indian bison, spotted deer, common wolf snakes, and Malabar grey hornbills. Return to the resort for breakfast. Afterward, our representative will transfer you to Bangalore Airport for your onward journey.
