Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Notification

If you need to cancel your tour or travel services for any reason, please send us a written notice from your registered email address only. Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings, and cancellation fees will be calculated based on the terms outlined below, effective from the date we receive your notice.

Cancellation Charges

1. Cancellation Terms Policy (i)
   • If you cancel at least 16 days before the scheduled departure date, there will be no cancellation fee.
   • If you cancel within 15 days of arrival or do not show up, a 100% cancellation fee will apply, and no refund will be issued.
   • Please Note: Policy (i) applies only to tours with 3-star and 3-star deluxe accommodations. It does not apply to tours that include flights, trains, wildlife safaris, 4-star, 5-star, or 5-star deluxe hotels, or customized itineraries.


2. Cancellation Terms Policy (ii) applicable from December 20 and January 5 every year.
   • If you cancel at least 31 days before the scheduled departure date, there will be no cancellation fee.
   • If you cancel within 30 days of arrival or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
   • Please Note: Policy (ii) applies to Christmas and New Year Tours scheduled between December 20 and January 5 and is specifically for tours with 3-star and 3-star deluxe accommodations. This policy does not apply to tours that include flights, trains, wildlife safaris, 4-star, 5-star, or 5-star deluxe hotels, or customized itineraries.


3. Cancellation Terms Policy (iii) for Tours with Flights/Trains/Wildlife Safari, Special Festival Tours, or Customized Itineraries.
   • If you cancel at least 60 days before the scheduled departure date, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to the total cost of the tour, plus any fees incurred for the cancellation of safaris, trains, or flights (if applicable).
   • If you cancel between 46 and 59 days before the scheduled departure date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply to the total cost of the tour.
   • If you cancel within 45 days of arrival or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
   • Please Note: Policy (iii) applies to tours that include flights, trains, wildlife safaris, special festival tours, or customized itineraries with 3-star, 4-star, and 5 star accommodations. This policy does not cover tour packages that include top luxury hotels like The Leela, The Oberoi Hotels, and Taj Group Hotels.


4. Cancellation Terms Policy (iv) for Tours with top luxury hotels like The Leela, Oberoi Hotels, and Taj Group Hotels.
   • If you cancel at least 60 days before the scheduled departure date, a 25% cancellation fee will apply to the total cost of the tour, plus any fees incurred for the cancellation of safaris, trains, or flights (if applicable).
   • If you cancel within 60 days of arrival or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
   • Please Note: Policy (iii) applies to tours that include flights, trains, wildlife safaris, special festival tours, or customized itineraries with top luxury hotels like The Leela, The Oberoi Hotels, and Taj Group Hotels.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

• Any increase in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India after finalizing the Tour/Service Cost will be charged as extra.
• Alkof Holidays acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors, and all services are subject to their terms and conditions.
• Itineraries are samples, and changes may occur due to factors such as weather, road conditions, participant physical ability, etc. We reserve the right to change schedules for safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Our rates are based on negotiated rates with hotels, airlines, etc., subject to their right to modify rates without notice. We are not responsible for delays or alterations due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns, weather, sickness, political closures, or other incidents.
