Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Old & New Delhi

Today, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: New Delhi - Mathura / Vrindavan (185 kms/3.30 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mathura by road. Upon arrival, delve into the spiritual heritage of Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Visit Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, the revered site of Krishna's birth, and explore the 25 ghats along the Yamuna River, with Vishram Ghat being particularly sacred. Discover the Dwarkadheesh Temple, a central place of worship for devotees, and visit other notable sites like the Gita Mandir and Radha Kund. Next, head to Vrindavan, just 10 kilometres from Mathura, where Lord Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood. After checking in at your hotel in Vrindavan, take time to visit the renowned Banke Bihari Temple and the beautifully crafted Prem Mandir. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel in Vrindavan.

Please Note: Due to traffic police restrictions, cars will be parked 1 km away from the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan. Travellers will need to hire rickshaw or tuktuk to reach the temple and other sites. The cost of the local rickshaw or tuktuk ride is to be borne by the travellers.

Day 4: Vrindavan - Agra (85 kms/2 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Nidhi Van, known as the "Forest of Tulsi." This sacred site is deeply revered and steeped in spiritual significance. Also visit Madan Mohan Temple, Sri Radha Raman, and Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. Enjoy some free time in Vrindavan, later by 3.00 PM leave for Agra - the Land of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Taj Sunrise Visit & Agra Sightseeing

Early in the morning, before sunrise, your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel for a guided visit to the iconic Taj Mahal and the serene Mehtab Bagh. After the tour, return to the hotel for a delightful breakfast. Following breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in Agra. Visit the exquisite Itmad-ud-Daulah and the grand Agra Fort. In the evening, enjoy some leisure time to shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs in Agra’s bustling markets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms/5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Exploring Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the "Amber Fort and Palace," a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. Following your visit to Amber Fort, continue your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Jal Mahal, the serene Water Palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

Proceed to City Palace, a magnificent blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture that houses museums showcasing royal artifacts. Day 9: Departure from New Delhi

In the morning, we will transfer you to IGI Airport, New Delhi for your journey home or onward journey.
