Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur

Upon arrival at Udaipur airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, if time allows, visit the Sahasra Bahu temples, 10th-century Hindu temples dedicated to Vishnu, located at Nagda, and the 8th-century Shri Ekling Ji Temple, dedicated to Lord Ekling Ji, both known for their stunning architecture. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: At Udaipur

Start your day in Udaipur with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before diving into the city's rich culture and history. Begin your sightseeing adventure by visiting Sahelion-Ki-Bari, a beautiful garden known for its serene atmosphere. Next, explore the Museum of Folk Art, where you'll discover a colourful array of traditional clothing, puppets, masks, and musical instruments. Continue your journey with a visit to the majestic City Palace, a sprawling complex that showcases the grandeur of Indian royalty. Marvel at the intricate peacock mosaic and vibrant wall paintings depicting ancient myths as you wander through the palace museum. Don't miss out on other iconic landmarks like Pratap Smarak, Fateh Sagar Lake, Karni Mata Temple, and the ropeway for breathtaking views of the city. As the day winds down, treat yourself to a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola, soaking in the picturesque scenery as the sun sets. Retire to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh (85 kms/2.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, depart for Kumbhalgarh, the pride of the Mewar Empire. Upon arrival, check in at the resort and freshen up. Visit the impressive Kumbhalgarh Fort, built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, It is the second most important fort of the Mewar Rulers of Rajasthan, Also known as the second largest fort wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Kumbhalgarh Fort was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 and is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Kumbhalgarh.

Day 4: Kumbhalgarh - Jawai Bandh (95 kms/2.5 hrs drive)

After a hearty breakfast, leave for Jawai Bandh - a dam built across the Jawai river, and one of the best travel destinations in Rajasthan for Leopard Safari. Upon arrival, check-in at the resort and take some time to unwind. Later in the evening, embark on an exciting jeep safari, providing you with a comprehensive tour of the area. The safari begins at your hotel and includes a visit to Jawai Dam, where you can spot crocodiles and enjoy bird watching amidst the stunning views of the dam. Continue your safari to Leopard Point, where you can marvel at these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, nestled among towering granite rocks. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner at the resort, followed by a restful overnight stay.

Day 5: Jawai Bandh - Udaipur (170 kms/3 hrs drive) & Departure

Early in the morning, around 5:00 AM, embark on another jeep safari to spot various animals, including leopards, striped hyenas, sloth bears, Indian foxes, wild boars, chinkaras, nilgais, Indian eagle-owls, Indian pythons, mugger crocodiles, and migratory birds. After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast. Following your meal, our representative will transfer you to Udaipur Airport for your flight home or onward destination.

Our family had a customized tour that included all three national parks for tiger safaris as well as the traditional golden triangle tour. We had 2 different drivers during the tour that picked us up at the airport or drove us to the next location. The drivers were always early, extremely friendly and helpful, and the cars were immaculate. We stayed at six different hotels that were picked out for us. They were all very nice and I would stay at them again. The guides at each location were very knowledgeable and friendly.
