Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Namaste! Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Relax and unwind after your journey. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: At Mumbai

After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of Mumbai, the bustling city known as "The City that Never Sleeps." Start your day with a visit to Mumbai Harbor, where you'll board a ferry to Elephanta Island. Explore the ancient caves that date back to the 5th century BC and marvel at their intricate rock-cut sculptures and historical significance. After returning by ferry in the afternoon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, visit the iconic Gateway of India for a photo opportunity and some sightseeing. Next, head to the Prince of Wales Museum (now known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya), where you can explore fascinating artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization and other historical exhibits. Continue to Mani Bhavan, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, which showcases his life and contributions to India's independence movement. In the evening, take some time for shopping in Mumbai’s bustling markets and streets, filled with an array of shops and attractions. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mumbai/Nagpur (By Flight) - Tadoba (145 kms/3.5 hrs drive)

In the morning, board a flight from Mumbai Airport to Nagpur. Upon arrival at Nagpur Airport, our local representative will greet you and transfer you to the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, the oldest and largest tiger reserve in Maharashtra. Upon reaching Tadoba, check in at your resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the nearby area, enjoying the lush surroundings, or interacting with the park’s naturalist to learn more about the local wildlife and ecosystem. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4: At Tadoba-Andhari National Park

Enjoy both morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. During these safaris, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including the majestic Royal Bengal Tigers, as well as jackals, sloth bears, hyenas, panthers, nilgai, Indian bison, sambar, wild dogs, and cheetal. In addition to these species, Tadoba National Park is home to around 195 bird species and 74 butterfly species, making it a vibrant and diverse ecosystem. After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, return to your resort for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Tadoba/Nagpur - Mumbai (By Flight) & Departure

This morning, our representative will transfer you from Tadoba to Nagpur Airport. From there, board your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport, you can catch your onward flight to your home or next destination.

Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance.
To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes.
Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.
Special Note: Please respect wildlife and their natural habitats during your safari. Maintain a safe distance, avoid loud noises, and follow all guidelines provided by your guides. Your cooperation helps protect these incredible animals and ensures a positive experience for everyone.

Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.
