Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai

Upon your arrival at Mumbai International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by an Alkof Holidays representative who will escort you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to unwind and explore at your own pace. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: At Mumbai

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on an exciting full-day guided tour of Mumbai, the City that Never Sleeps. Start your adventure with a ferry ride from Mumbai harbor to Elephanta Island, where you'll explore the ancient caves dating back to the 5th century BC. In the afternoon, return by ferry and savor lunch at a local restaurant. Next, visit the iconic Gateway of India for a photo shoot and some sightseeing. Continue to the Prince of Wales Museum, home to fascinating artifacts from the Indus Valley civilization. Then, head to Mani Bhavan, a poignant memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening, enjoy free time for shopping as you navigate the bustling lanes filled with shops and vibrant attractions. Conclude your day with a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Mumbai - Diu (By Flight) - Gir National Park (70 kms/2 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will escort you to Mumbai Airport for your flight to Diu. Upon landing at Diu Airport, you'll be greeted by another representative who will transfer you to Gir National Park. Once you arrive, check-in at the resort and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: At Gir National Park

Experience the thrill of both morning and evening game drives at Gir National Park, the only home to the majestic Asiatic lions. This renowned protected area boasts an impressive range of exotic flora and fauna, with its dry and deciduous forests sheltering over 500 lions and 300 leopards. Gir is a haven for the cat family, including the native Indian leopard. In addition to these big cats, you can spot jackals, hyenas, Indian foxes, and sambar deer. The park is uniquely home to the Chowsingha, or four-horned antelope, the only place in the world where this rare species resides. Other inhabitants include chinkara, wild boar, nilgai, chital, mongoose, honey badger, desert cats, rusty-spotted cats, porcupines, and hares. Gir also supports a significant population of marsh crocodiles, among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded here. Day 5: Gir National Park - Diu (70 kms/2 hrs drive) - Nagpur (By Flight)

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to Diu Airport to board a flight to Nagpur via Mumbai. Upon arrival at Nagpur Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Nagpur - Kanha National Park (260 kms/5.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, set off for Kanha National Park, one of Asia’s most well-maintained wildlife reserves and the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s "The Jungle Book". Spanning 940 sq. km, this park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal tigers, sloth bears, leopards, and barasinghas. Upon arrival, check in at the resort. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, whether it's taking a walk in the surrounding area, soaking in the lush greenery, or interacting with the park's naturalist. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 7: At Kanha National Park

Experience the thrill of both morning and evening game drives at Kanha Tiger Reserve, one of the most tourist-friendly national parks. Known for sheltering the rare Hard-ground Barasingha (Swamp Deer), Kanha offers sightings of tigers, leopards, Indian gaurs (Asiatic Bison), wild dogs (Dhole), mouse deer, wild boars, blue bulls, spotted deer, and four-horned antelopes. Bird enthusiasts can spot rare species like the Crested Serpent Eagle, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Red-headed Vulture, and Green Munia. Day 9: At Bandhavgarh National Park

Enjoy exhilarating morning and evening safaris at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Start your day early, as vehicles must report to the entrance gate before sunrise for the best chances of tiger sightings, with the first two hours being crucial. Bandhavgarh is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including tigers, spotted deer, leopards, sambhar, wild boars, and sloth bears. Bird watchers will be thrilled with species like the Pulm Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, and Crested Serpent Eagle.
