Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and take the rest of the day to acclimatize to the high altitude. As you will be ascending from approximately 200 meters to 4,000 meters in just one hour, it's crucial to allow your body time to adjust. While you may feel eager to start exploring, we recommend resting on your first day to ensure proper acclimatization. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Leh

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore the breathtaking Sham Valley. This area is a moving tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Indo-Pak wars, as it was established by the Indian Army to honor their memory. It offers a poignant and personal reflection on their bravery and dedication. Next, visit the Kali Mata Mandir, a serene spot offering spiritual solace, before heading to the Spituk Gompa. This historic Buddhist monastery, dating back to the 11th century, stands as a testament to ancient craftsmanship and spiritual heritage. Continue your journey to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a revered site built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev’s visit. The Gurudwara’s serene environment and spiritual significance provide a peaceful interlude. Afterwards, experience the Magnetic Hills, where an optical illusion makes it appear as though downhill roads slope uphill. The unique phenomenon is a fascinating visual treat. Drive through the stunning landscape to reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where the dramatic meeting of these two mighty rivers creates a spectacular natural vista. Return to the hotel in the evening for a restful overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Zingchen - Trek to Rumbak valley

Today marks the beginning of the thrilling Snow Leopard Trek. After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to Zingchen, our starting point. Remember to carry extra water, as finding a source of drinking water may take several hours along the trail. During the drive, you’ll encounter the guards of Hemis National Park, adding an air of adventure to your journey. The trek begins at Zingchen, following a mild, gradual trail that ascends towards Rumbak Valley. We’ll keep a steady pace as we climb, taking time to soak in the stunning landscape. This area is known for its Snow Leopard sightings, so stay alert—Rumbak Valley is your best chance to spot these elusive creatures. In the evening, Overnight stay will be arranged in camps, Enjoy a lively evening around the campfire and savor a delicious dinner before retiring to your tents for a restful sleep.

Day 4: Explore Rumbak Valley

Today, we dedicate the day to exploring the enchanting Rumbak Valley. After a hearty breakfast at camp, set out to immerse yourself in the valley’s captivating beauty and rich wildlife. Spend the morning exploring through the valley’s diverse terrain. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Snow Leopard and other wildlife that inhabit this rugged landscape. The valley's unique environment offers fantastic opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography.
Return to camp in the evening for a relaxing dinner. Share stories of the day's adventures around the campfire and soak in the tranquility of the valley. Retire to your tents for a restful night under the star-filled sky, ready for the next day's journey.

Day 5: Explore Rumbak Valley - Leh

After breakfast, continue exploring Rumbak Valley, where you have excellent chances of spotting Snow Leopards. Spend the morning trekking and observing the valley’s wildlife and dramatic scenery. In the late afternoon, return to Leh. Once you arrive, enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Leh airport. Ensure you leave with ample time to catch your flight home or to your next destination.
