Day 1: Bengaluru - Coorg (250 Kms/5.5 Hrs Drive)

Upon arriving at Bengaluru Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will greet you and transfer you to Coorg, also known as Madikeri. Once you reach Coorg, check in at your hotel and take the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Coorg

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out for a full day of sightseeing in Coorg. Begin with a visit to Raja's Seat, a beautiful garden known for its seasonal flowers and artificial fountains, offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Next, explore the Omkareshwara Temple, a historic shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Madikeri Fort, which offers insights into the region’s history and stunning views. Visit Mandalpatti for its breathtaking vistas, and then head to Raja's Tomb, an impressive memorial for the Kodagu rulers. Conclude your day with a visit to Abbey Falls, where you can enjoy the picturesque waterfall and lush surroundings. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: At Coorg (Excursion trip to Dubare Elephant Camp)

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for an exciting excursion to Dubare Elephant Camp. This renowned camp is known for training elephants for the Mysore Dussehra celebrations. At Dubare Elephant Camp, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in various activities with these majestic animals. Participate in a memorable experience by giving the elephants a bath in the River Kaveri, a 45-minute activity where you can interact closely with the elephants. Additionally, a naturalist will provide insights into the history, ecology, and biology of elephants, enriching your understanding of these fascinating creatures. Return to your hotel in Coorg for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Coorg - Belur - Chikmagalur (150 Kms/4 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Chikmagalur. En route, visit the 12th-century Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, celebrated for its exquisite Hoysala architecture and intricate carvings. Continue your drive to Chikmagalur, Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chikmagalur.

Day 5: Exploring Chikmagalur

Start your day with a peaceful morning walk through Chikmagalur, taking in the scenic beauty and visiting the coffee estates where coffee was first cultivated in India. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then set out for a full day of sightseeing. Discover the stunning landscapes and fresh ambiance of Chikmagalur, known for its lush green coffee plantation hills, which makes it heaven for the travelers. Visit the enchanting Hebbe Waterfalls, nestled amidst coffee estates. Explore Baba Budangiri, a mountain range in the Western Ghats featuring three large caves considered sacred. Finally, visit the Annapoorneshwari Temple in Horanadu, dedicated to the goddess Annapoorneshwari (Annapoorna). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Chikmagalur - Bengaluru (250 Kms/5.5 Hrs Drive) & Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, an Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to Bengaluru. Depending on your travel plans, you will be taken either to your Bengaluru hotel or directly to Bangalore Airport for your onward journey. Safe travels and best wishes!
