Day 1: Delhi - Srinagar (By Flight)

Start your journey with a morning pickup from your hotel in Delhi, where our driver will escort you to New Delhi Airport for your flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, a representative from Alkof Holidays will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in and resting, you’ll embark on a tranquil Shikara ride on Dal Lake. This iconic experience includes visits to the charming 'Char Chinar,' four majestic chinar trees positioned in the lake's center, the lush 'Floating Gardens,' and the intricate network of canals. the striking boat houses in the backdrop of the scenic view of the hills and the ranges. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay, soaking in the serene beauty of Kashmir.

Day 2: Srinagar - Sonamarg (80 kms/2.5 hrs drive)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Sonamarg, a picturesque hill station nestled at 2,740 meters above sea level. The drive to Sonamarg is scenic, offering panoramic views of the majestic mountains and verdant landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a delectable lunch featuring local flavors. Afterward, embark on a guided half-day tour of Sonamarg. Known as the 'Meadow of Gold,' this area offers stunning vistas of the lush valley and the Sindh River. Marvel at the dramatic landscapes, including snow-capped peaks and lush meadows. Take a leisurely stroll or simply soak in the natural beauty around you. Day 3: Sonamarg - Pahalgam (180 kms/5 hrs drive)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting off for Pahalgam. Depart Sonamarg early to ensure a timely arrival in Pahalgam by the afternoon. En route, stop at the historic Avantipur Ruins, the remains of ancient temples that offer a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. Upon reaching Pahalgam, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and unwind. In the evening, explore the local market and visit nearby attractions, taking in the natural beauty and vibrant culture of Pahalgam. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of this charming destination.

Day 4: Exploring Pahalgam

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full day of sightseeing in Pahalgam. First, visit Chandanwadi, situated at an altitude of 3,288 meters. This stunning spot offers panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. Next, head to Betaab Valley, renowned for its breathtaking beauty. Surrounded by dense forests and towering mountain ranges, the valley is named after the Bollywood film "Betaab" which was filmed here. Enjoy the serene landscapes and the sparkling Sheshnad River that flows through the valley. Return to your hotel in the evening, where you have the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore Pahalgam at your own pace. Day 5: Pahalgam - Gulmarg (150 kms/4 hrs drive)

After breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, renowned as the "Meadows of Flowers" and situated at 2,440 meters above sea level. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and get ready to explore this enchanting destination. Gulmarg is famous for its world-class golf course and is a hotspot for winter sports such as skiing. Take in the stunning panoramic views of the verdant meadows and snow-capped peaks. Visit local attractions and then embark on a scenic cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas and fresh mountain air. Day 6: Gulmarg - Srinagar (55 kms/1.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, journey back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest and rejuvenate. Later, visit the Shankaracharya Hill Temple, perched 1,000 feet above the valley floor. This historic temple offers panoramic views of Srinagar and the surrounding landscape, providing a perfect vantage point for photos. Next, explore the famed Mughal Gardens, renowned for their exquisite beauty and historical significance. Wander through these meticulously landscaped gardens and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Day 7: Srinagar - Delhi (By Flight) & Departure

In the morning, your Alkof Holidays representative will assist with your transfer to Srinagar Airport. Board your flight to New Delhi, where you will continue your onward journey or head home. Safe travels and fond memories of your trip.

Important Information

Please note: Clients/Guests are required to make direct payments for the following sightseeing points.
- In Pahalgam: Horse Riding, Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Baisaran Valley.
- In Gulmarg: Horse Riding, Gondola Ride, Zorbing, and other adventure sports activities.
- In Sonamarg: Thajwass Glacier and Horse Riding.
- Guests are required to book local Union taxis for sightseeing, as well as ponies or gondolas, at the above mentioned locations.
Gondola Rides in Gulmarg: Gondola rides in Gulmarg must be booked in advance, as they often sell out days or weeks ahead due to high demand. You can book directly or let us know your requirement at the time of booking. Gondola rides are subject to availability.
At hill stations, air conditioning is not typically required due to the low temperatures. However, if AC is requested, it will be charged at Rs 7 per km for SUVs and Rs 10 per km for Tempo Travelers (TT), payable directly to the driver.
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
Mobile Phone Service - Mobile phones with postpaid BSNL connections are operational in most parts of Ladakh. In Leh town, postpaid connections from Airtel and Jio networks are also functional.
Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 15 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 15 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellation
