Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own pace. You might wander through the city's bustling streets or relax in its serene, tree-lined boulevards, getting your first taste of India's vibrant culture and energy. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Today, embark on a full-day exploration of Delhi, the National Capital of India with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your sightseeing at Rajghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, who was cremated here in 1948. Next, visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant energy of Chandni Chowk with a rickshaw ride through this bustling market. Continue your tour with a drive past the President House and India Gate, key landmarks in Edwin Lutyen's New Delhi. Visit Humayun's Tomb, a striking example of Mughal architecture built in 1562, commissioned by Humayun's wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Enjoy the evening exploring these markets, absorbing the local culture, and perhaps picking up some unique souvenirs. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Jaipur with a full-day guided tour. Start with Amber Fort and Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Raja Man Singh in 1592, this majestic fort is perched on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. The magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, divided into several sections. Constructed from red sandstone and marble, the fort's grand architecture and strategic location make it an iconic symbol of Jaipur’s heritage. Next, visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), an enchanting palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake setting against the backdrop of the Aravalli Hills.

Today, enjoy a full day of exploration in Thekkady and the Periyar National Park. Periyar, renowned for its dense evergreen forests and scenic landscapes, is part of the Western Ghats and a significant wildlife sanctuary. Periyar National Park, established as a Tiger Reserve in 1978, is famous for its diverse flora and fauna. The sanctuary is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards, and Indian bison. The park's rich biodiversity and lush scenery offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. The sanctuary remains open during the monsoon season, offering year-round opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts.

Upon arrival, check in to your houseboat around 1:00 PM and begin your enchanting backwater cruise. The houseboat experience is a quintessential Kerala journey, offering a unique way to explore the serene network of canals and lagoons that define the region. As you cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch onboard and take in the scenic beauty of the backwaters. Glide past traditional Chinese fishing nets, lush paddy fields, and vibrant coconut groves. Witness local life as you see villagers engaged in daily activities like coir making, and observe ancient temples and rustic homes dotting the landscape.   • Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
  • Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
  • Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes.
  • Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.
  • Special Note: Please respect wildlife and their natural habitats during your safari. Maintain a safe distance, avoid loud noises, and follow all guidelines provided by your guides. Your cooperation helps protect these incredible animals and ensures a positive experience for everyone.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
