Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai

Namaste and welcome to India! On the day of arrival at Mumbai Airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: At Mumbai

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day guided tour of Mumbai, famously known as "The City that Never Sleeps." Begin your adventure at Mumbai Harbor, where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island to explore its ancient caves, dating back to the 5th century BC. In the afternoon, return by ferry and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Next, visit the iconic Gateway of India for a photo shoot and sightseeing, followed by a trip to the Prince of Wales Museum, home to fascinating artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization. Day 3: Mumbai - Jabalpur (By Flight) - Bandhavgarh (170 kms / 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will escort you to Mumbai Airport for your flight to Jabalpur. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to Bandhavgarh National Park, historically known as the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa and renowned for its tiger population. Once you reach Bandhavgarh, check in at your resort. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, whether you prefer to take a walk in the surrounding area, enjoy the lush greenery, or interact with the park's naturalist. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4: At Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

Enjoy exhilarating morning and evening safaris at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Start your day early, as vehicles must report to the entrance gate before sunrise for the best chances of tiger sightings, with the first two hours being crucial. Bandhavgarh is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including tigers, spotted deer, leopards, sambhar, wild boars, and sloth bears. Bird watchers will be thrilled with species like the Pulm Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, and Crested Serpent Eagle. Don’t miss a visit to Bandhavgarh Fort, an ancient structure perched 811 meters above sea level with 39 caves, believed to be over 2000 years old. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park (215 kms / 5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the resort, set off for Kanha National Park, celebrated as one of Asia’s most well-preserved wildlife sanctuaries and the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling's 'The Jungle Book.' Spanning 940 sq. km, Kanha is home to Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal Tigers, sloth bears, leopards, and barasingha. Upon arrival, check-in at the resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy activities like walking through the lush surroundings, engaging with the park's naturalist, or simply soaking in the serene environment. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 6: At Kanha National Park

Today, enjoy two exciting jeep safaris in Kanha National Park—one in the early morning and another in the afternoon. Discover the park's rich biodiversity and lush vegetation, with over 1,000 species of flowering plants enhancing the landscape. As you explore, keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife, including the Royal Bengal tiger, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal, sambar, gaur, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, python, and various bird species such as spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, and green pigeons. Day 8: At Pench National Park

Today, embark on two thrilling jeep safaris within Pench National Park, one in the early morning and another in the afternoon. Day 9: Pench - Nagpur (85 kms / 2.30 hrs drive) - Mumbai (By Flight)

After breakfast at the resort, we'll transfer you to Nagpur Airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Mumbai Airport and escort you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure from Mumbai
