Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

Namaste, Welcome to India! On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Old & New Delhi

Today, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Experience the vibrant atmosphere with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's busiest market. Drive past the Presidential House and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen's Delhi. Explore Humayun's Tomb, built in 1562 by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: New Delhi - Agra (220 kms/4 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, depart for Agra, the city renowned for the iconic Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to rest and relax. In the afternoon, visit the exquisite Itmad-ud-Daulah and the majestic Agra Fort. Spend the evening exploring the local markets, where you can shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore (270 kms/6 hrs drive)

Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you from your hotel and take you for a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Ranthambore. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Ranthambore for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Exploring Ranthambore National Park

Start your day early with a morning jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park. As the sun rises, venture into the wilderness, where you might spot Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of deer species like sambar and chital. The park is also home to Indian wild boars, marsh crocodiles, and over 300 species of birds. After the safari, return to the resort for a hearty breakfast, followed by some leisure time to relax or enjoy the resort's amenities. Lunch is served at the resort, offering a taste of local flavors. In the afternoon, embark on your second jeep safari, where the late-day light enhances your chances of spotting wildlife such as the Indian leopard, hyenas, and jungle cats. You may also see more of the park's vibrant birdlife, including kingfishers, parakeets, and eagles. After the safari, return to the resort for dinner, savoring a variety of dishes as you unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures before settling in for the night. Day 6: Ranthambore - Jaipur (160 kms/3.30 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at the resort, depart for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, explore the charming markets of Jaipur's historic walled pink city, where you can witness the timeless traditions and vibrant local culture. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Exploring Jaipur

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Jaipur. Begin your exploration with Rajasthan's iconic attraction, the "Amber Fort and Palace," a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592 using red sandstone and marble. This majestic fort complex is perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Maota Lake and the surrounding landscapes. Explore its extensive palace sections and intricate architecture, which blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. Following your visit to Amber Fort, continue your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Jal Mahal, the serene Water Palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Sariska Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and take some time to unwind. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari through the park’s diverse landscapes. Enjoy your overnight stay at the resort.

Sariska Tiger Reserve, situated in the Aravali Hills, covers 800 sq km of varied terrain including grasslands, dry deciduous forests, sheer cliffs, and rocky outcrops. The reserve is home to a wide range of wildlife, such as leopards, sambar deer, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boars, rhesus macaques, langurs, hyenas, and jungle cats, in addition to the elusive tiger. The park is also notable for its birdlife, featuring India’s largest population of peafowl and a rich variety of other species including quail, sand grouse, golden-backed woodpeckers, crested serpent eagles among other species. Also visit to Siliserh Lake, located on the park’s edge, which is home to a significant number of crocodiles.

Day 9: Sariska - New Delhi (210 kms/4.30 hrs drive)

Start your day early with an exciting jeep safari in Sariska Tiger Reserve, where you'll have the chance for wildlife viewing and tiger tracking. After the safari, return to the resort for a hearty breakfast. Following breakfast, depart for New Delhi. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day exploring this vibrant and diverse city at your leisure. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure from New Delhi

In the morning, we will transfer you to IGI Airport, New Delhi for your journey home or onward journey.

Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance. To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes. Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.

Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellation
