Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi

Upon arriving at New Delhi airport, you will be greeted by an Alkof Holidays representative who will escort you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the vibrant streets or strolling along the city's expansive, tree-lined boulevards to immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of India. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Delhi

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a comprehensive tour of Delhi, a city with a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, explore the majestic Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, known for its impressive architecture and vast courtyard. Experience a traditional rickshaw ride through the vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of Old Delhi’s busiest markets. Proceed to Lutyen's Delhi, where you’ll drive past the President House and India Gate, iconic symbols of modern India. Visit Humayun's Tomb, a stunning example of Mughal architecture built in 1562. Conclude the day with a visit to Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret, constructed by Qutbuddin Aibak. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (220 kms/4 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for Agra, renowned as the City of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest and refresh. Later, visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the "Baby Taj," and explore the impressive Agra Fort. Spend your evening exploring Agra’s markets, where you can shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms/5 hrs drive)

Start your day early with a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh, just before sunrise. Experience the stunning beauty of these landmarks in the tranquil morning light. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast, depart for Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site established by Akbar in the late 16th century. Though it was abandoned after just 14 years, its splendid buildings remain remarkably well-preserved. Continue your journey to Jaipur. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Full-Day Tour of Jaipur

Today, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Jaipur, immersing yourself in the city's most iconic attractions. Begin with Amber Fort and Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592. Built from red sandstone and marble, this majestic fort features an extensive palace complex with beautifully designed sections. Perched on a picturesque hill beside Maota Lake, Amber Fort's impressive architecture and strategic location make it a must-visit. Next, visit the Jal Mahal (Water Palace), a stunning structure set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

Continue to the City Palace, which showcases a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and houses a museum with royal artifacts. Explore Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory featuring the world’s largest stone sundial. Stop by the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), known for its distinctive façade with numerous small windows designed to allow royal women to observe street life without being seen. Visit the Albert Hall Museum, which exhibits a diverse collection of art and artifacts. Finally, pay a visit to Birla Mandir, a beautifully crafted Hindu temple made of white marble. Day 6: Jaipur - New Delhi (275 kms/5.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to New Delhi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Delhi - Jabalpur (By Flight) - Bandhavgarh (170 kms/4 hrs drive)

This morning, you’ll be transferred to New Delhi airport for your flight to Jabalpur. Upon arrival at Jabalpur Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and drive you to Bandhavgarh National Park, approximately a 4-hour journey. Check in at your resort upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, whether it’s strolling through the area, enjoying the lush surroundings, or interacting with the park’s naturalist. Enjoy overnight stay at the resort.

Day 8: Exploring Bandhavgarh National Park

Enjoy both morning and evening safaris inside Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Be prepared for early safari drives, as vehicles must report to the entrance gate before sunrise. According to safari guides, the early morning hours are ideal for tiger sightings, making the first two hours of the drive particularly crucial. Bandhavgarh National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife and avifauna, including over 150 bird species. Wildlife highlights include tigers, spotted deer, leopards, sambhar, wild boars, sloth bears and with others. Birdwatchers may spot a variety of species such as the Plum Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, White Throated Kingfisher, Black Drongo, Racket Tailed Drongo, Crested Serpent Eagle, Greater Coucal, Red Necked Vulture, and White Rumped Vulture. Additionally, visit Bandhavgarh Fort, which is located inside the park. This historic fort, situated 811 meters above sea level, has 39 caves and is believed to be around 2,000 years old. Enjoy overnight stay at the resort.

Day 9: Bandhavgarh/Jabalpur (170 kms/4 hrs drive) - New Delhi (By Flight) & Departure

This morning, an Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to Jabalpur Airport for your flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival in New Delhi, you can choose to either transfer to your hotel or proceed to board your flight home or to your next destination.

To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
