The hike up takes approximately 2 hours at a steady pace, and though the main building was destroyed by fire in 1998, it was magnificently restored by 2001. The journey rewards you with breathtaking views and a truly memorable experience. In the afternoon, visit Ta Dzong, originally a watchtower, now home to the National Museum. The Golden Triangle, encompassing Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, shines brightest during the pleasant months! October to March offers ideal weather for sightseeing - warm days and cool nights. However, December and January can get chilly in Delhi, while the south experiences peak tourist season with higher prices. Shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October) see lower crowds and decent weather, though April and May can be quite hot. For the most comfortable exploration, aim for October to March (excluding December/January).

The best time to visit Bhutan depends on what you want to experience! Spring (March-May) boasts pleasant weather with blooming rhododendrons, but can be crowded. Even summer (June-Aug) has its charm, with lush landscapes and vibrant festivals, although expect some monsoon rain. Autumn (Sept-Nov) offers clear skies and crisp air, ideal for trekking. Winter (Dec-Feb) is less crowded with potential snowfall, but some mountain passes may close.
