Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai

Greetings and welcome to India! Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Alkof Holidays who will escort you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2: At Mumbai

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day at the Gateway of India, an iconic landmark offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Capture memorable photos and soak in the scenic beauty. Take a leisurely walk to Mumbai Harbor and board a ferry to Elephanta Island, enjoying a picturesque one-hour journey along the Mumbai coastline.

Upon arrival at Elephanta Island, explore the breathtaking Elephanta Caves, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These ancient rock-cut caves, dating from the 5th to 8th centuries, showcase intricate sculptures and temples dedicated primarily to Hindu deities, especially Lord Shiva. Return to Mumbai by ferry.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our representative will escort you to Mumbai Airport for your flight to Nagpur. Upon landing at Nagpur airport, our representative will greet you and accompany you on a scenic road journey to Pench National Park. Check-in at the resort upon arrival for dinner and an overnight stay. Pench National Park spans approximately 758 sq. km and served as the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book". It is also noted in the historical Ain-i-Akbari for its natural riches. In 2011, Pench was honored with the Best Management Award.

Day 4: At Pench National Park

Experience two exhilarating jeep safaris within the National Park—one in the early morning and another in the late afternoon. Encounter a variety of wildlife and bird species, including barking deer, sloth bear, porcupine, fox, jungle cat, chowsingha, tigers, panthers, wild dog, lesser whistling teal, egret, racket-tailed drongo, chital, spotted deer, pintail, herons, magpie robin, barbet, red-vented bulbul, and more. Day 5: Pench - Kanha National Park (240 kms/5.30 hrs drive)

Day 8: At Satpura Tiger Reserve

Experience the thrill of two jeep safaris in the captivating Satpura Tiger Reserve - one early in the morning and another in the late afternoon. Upon arrival in Pachmarhi, begin your journey with a visit to the spectacular Bee Falls. Marvel at the breathtaking cascade of water plunging into a tranquil pool below. Take a moment to soak in the serene ambiance and capture memorable photos of this natural marvel. Continue your exploration with a visit to Jata Shankar, a sacred cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 10: Satpura - Bhimbetka - Bhopal (110 kms/3 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at the resort, depart for Bhopal to delve into its rich cultural and historical heritage. En route, visit Bhimbetka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its ancient rock shelters and cave paintings dating back millennia. Explore the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters with a knowledgeable guide, marveling at the intricate sandstone formations and vivid paintings depicting scenes from ancient life, including hunting, dancing, and daily rituals. Following your exploration of Bhimbetka, continue your journey towards Bhopal. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. The scenic drive takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering glimpses of rural Madhya Pradesh along the way.
