Day 1: Arrival in Bengaluru

On arrival at Bengaluru airport, you will be welcomed by an Alkof Holidays representative who will transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax before embarking on a tour of Bengaluru, known as the Garden City of India. Start with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, a 240-acre park renowned for its vast collection of tropical plants, an aquarium, a glasshouse, and a serene lake. Continue to Cubbon Park for a leisurely stroll, then see the Vidhana Soudha from the outside, explore the grand Bangalore Palace, and visit Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace. In the evening, immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance of the ISKCON Temple at Hare Krishna Hill. Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Bangalore - Kabini (200 kms/4.30 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary, a stunning part of Nagarhole National Park renowned for its rare Black Panther sightings. This area was once the exclusive hunting grounds of the Wadiyar dynasty, the Royal Family of Mysore, and it has since become a popular tourist destination. Upon arrival, check in at the resort and take some time to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, set out on a guided boat safari along the Kabini River. This safari offers a unique opportunity to observe a diverse range of wildlife and bird species in their natural habitat, including tigers, Black Panthers, elephants, Indian bison (gaur), spotted deer, common wolf snakes, and the Malabar grey hornbill. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3 & 4: Explore Kabini National Park

Immerse yourself in the wildlife wonders of Kabini National Park with early morning and afternoon safaris. These excursions offer the chance to encounter the elusive Black Panther, also known as the Ghost of the Forest. Besides this rare sighting, you may spot a variety of other wildlife including sloth bears, leopards, tigers, wild dogs, sambar deer, four-horned antelopes, spotted deer, barking deer, elephants, gaur, wild boars, mongoose, giant flying squirrels, slender lorises, bonnet macaques, porcupines, mouse-deer, jackals, pangolins, and hares. The park is also home to over 250 bird species, adding to the rich diversity of the area. Each safari provides a unique opportunity to observe and appreciate the park’s vibrant ecosystem. Return to the resort each evening for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 5: Kabini - Bandipur National Park (100 kms/2.30 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at the resort, you'll set off for Bandipur National Park & Tiger Reserve, a renowned part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Upon arrival, gear up for an exciting safari through Bandipur's lush forests, home to diverse wildlife including tigers, elephants, leopards, and numerous bird species. The safari offers a chance to immerse yourself in the park's natural beauty and spot its rich biodiversity. After the safari, unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings before retiring for the night at the resort in Bandipur.

Day 6: Explore Bandipur National Park

Embark on the exhilarating early morning and afternoon safaris at Bandipur National Park, where every moment holds the promise of wildlife encounters and birdwatching bliss. Marvel at the rich biodiversity as you traverse the park's scenic landscapes, spotting majestic tigers, playful elephants, elusive leopards, and a vibrant array of bird species. After a day filled with adventure and awe-inspiring sightings, unwind at the resort, savor a delicious dinner, and enjoy a restful overnight stay.

Day 7: Bandipur - Mysore (75 kms/1.30 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the resort, drive to Mysore, a city renowned for its cultural heritage, palaces, and gardens. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. Later, visit the Kesava Temple at Somnathpur, a stunning example of Hoysala architecture. Next, explore the magnificent Mysore Palace and admire the Golden Throne in the Durbar Hall. Continue your journey to Chamundi Hills to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, and don't miss St. Philomena's Church, one of the largest Gothic-style churches in India. In the evening, head to Brindavan Gardens to enjoy the spectacular musical fountain, where water displays are synchronized with music. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Mysore - Bangalore (210 kms/4 hrs drive) & Departure

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be comfortably transferred to Bangalore International Airport by our dedicated driver. Prepare to board your flight to your home or onward destination, taking with you cherished memories of your journey.

Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance. To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes. Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.
Special Note: Please respect wildlife and their natural habitats during your safari. Maintain a safe distance, avoid loud noises, and follow all guidelines provided by your guides. Your cooperation helps protect these incredible animals and ensures a positive experience for everyone.

Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.
Any costs arising from natural calamities such as landslides, road blockages, political disturbances (e.g., strikes), etc., are to be borne by the client. We will not be held liable for any refunds or compensation claims resulting from these circumstances.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellation

If you cancel at least 60 days before the scheduled departure date, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to the total cost of the tour, plus any fees incurred for the cancellation of safaris. Kindly read complete details at Cancellation Policy.
