Day 1: Arrival in Bhopal

Upon your arrival at Bhopal airport or railway station, an Alkof Holidays representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax or explore at your leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Bhopal

Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on a day of sightseeing in Bhopal. Start with a visit to the Jama Masjid, an impressive mosque known for its elegant Islamic architecture. Next, head to the Taj-ul-Masajid, one of the largest mosques in Asia, renowned for its grand design and architectural beauty. In the afternoon, explore the State Archaeological Museum (closed on Mondays), which houses a rich collection of artifacts and relics from the region’s history. After your museum visit, you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Excursion to Sanchi

After breakfast at the hotel, take a trip to Sanchi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This small town is renowned for its Buddhist monuments, including stupas, monasteries, temples, and pillars dating from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. The highlight of your visit will be the Sanchi Stupa - 1, originally constructed by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka. Return to Bhopal in the evening and Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal - Bhimbetka - Satpura Tiger Reserve (200 kms/5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on your journey to Satpura Tiger Reserve, also known as Satpura National Park. En route, make a stop at the Bhimbetka Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for their prehistoric rock paintings. While the site comprises a total of 600 caves, only 12 are open to the public. These ancient artworks offer fascinating insights into human life from prehistoric times to the medieval period.

Continue your drive to Satpura Tiger Reserve, a destination renowned for its diverse wildlife and lush landscapes. The reserve attracts a variety of visitors, including tourists, pilgrims, scientists, and sociologists, drawn by its natural beauty and ecological significance. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and spend the rest of the day at your leisure, enjoying the serene surroundings. Relax and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Explore Satpura Tiger Reserve

Enjoy a full day of wildlife exploration at Satpura Tiger Reserve with two thrilling jeep safaris—one in the early morning and another in the afternoon. The reserve is home to a diverse array of animals, including the majestic tigers, elusive leopards, and the large Indian bison (gaur). Keep an eye out for the striking Indian giant squirrel, graceful spotted deer, and wild boar. You may also spot the social wild dogs (dholes), the shaggy sloth bear, and elegant black bucks. Other fascinating species include porcupines, sambar deer, the unique four-horned antelope (chowsingha), playful smooth otters, and the elusive pangolin. The marsh crocodile is another notable resident of the reserve’s waterways. After your exciting safaris, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, taking in the serene surroundings. Day 6: Satpura - Pachmarhi (90 kms/2.30 hrs drive)

Early in the morning, depart for Pachmarhi, often referred to as "Satpura ki Rani" or the Queen of Satpura. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and prepare to explore the natural beauty of this charming hill station. Start your sightseeing with a jeep safari through Pachmarhi scenic landscapes. Visit the Jata Shankar Temple, renowned for its unique ponds—one with cold water and the other with hot water. Continue to the Shri Panch Pandav Caves, a series of five ancient caves carved into a hillock. Explore the nearby Panchali Kund, and the stunning Silver Fall and Bee Falls, with Bee Falls being a striking 35-meter-high waterfall.

Next, head to Handi Khoh (Deep Valley), a dramatic ravine with dense woodland and a 300-foot cliff, associated with Lord Shiva. Visit Priyadarshini Point for panoramic views, the Gupt Mahadev Temple, and Rajan Giri Sunset Point for a breathtaking sunset experience. In the evening, you may choose to stroll through the quaint streets of Pachmarhi and explore the local town. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Pachmarhi - Bhopal (210 kms/5.30 hrs drive) & Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to Bhopal airport or railway station for onward journey.

Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance. To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes. Opt for sturdy, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, and light snacks for the journey.

Transportation is provided according to the itinerary only and is not available on a disposal or point-to-point basis.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior tour starting date. For any bookings within 60 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

Cancellation
