Day 1: Delhi - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (210 kms/4 hrs drive)

Around 9:00 AM, a representative from Alkof Holidays will pick you up from your Delhi hotel and drive you to the renowned Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, officially known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. This historic park, once a royal hunting ground, is now celebrated as one of the world’s premier bird sanctuaries. Upon arrival, check in at your resort. Later, embark on a rickshaw safari through the sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich avian biodiversity. You’ll have the chance to spot over 230 species of resident birds and more than 100 migratory species. In addition to the diverse birdlife, the sanctuary is home to a variety of other wildlife, including snakes, lizards, and amphibians. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Bharatpur - Delhi (210 kms/4 hrs drive) & Departure

Begin your day with an early morning rickshaw safari in the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, maximizing your opportunities to observe a wider variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After this enriching experience, return to the resort for a leisurely breakfast. Following breakfast, a representative will assist with your transfer back to Delhi. You will be dropped off at your Delhi hotel or directly at New Delhi Airport for your onward journey.
