Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by an Alkof Holidays representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, either exploring the vibrant streets of the city or strolling through its expansive, tree-lined avenues to get a taste of India's dynamic culture. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring Delhi

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Delhi. As the National Capital of India, Delhi boasts a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Begin your tour at Rajghat, the solemn memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Next, visit the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of Old Delhi’s busiest markets. Continue your tour with a drive past the President's House and India Gate, landmarks of Lutyens' Delhi. In the afternoon, explore Humayun’s Tomb, a stunning Mughal monument commissioned by Humayun’s wife, Hamida Banu Begum, in 1562. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, erected by Qutbuddin Aibak. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Jabalpur (By Flight) - Bandhavgarh (170 kms/4 hrs drive)

Early this morning, an Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to New Delhi Airport for your flight to Jabalpur. Upon arrival at Jabalpur Airport, a local representative will meet you and drive you to Bandhavgarh National Park. Check in at your resort upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure—explore the nearby area, enjoy the lush surroundings, or interact with the park's naturalist. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4: Exploring Bandhavgarh National Park

Enjoy both morning and evening safaris inside Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Be prepared for early safari drives, as vehicles must report to the entrance gate before sunrise. According to safari guides, the early morning hours are ideal for tiger sightings, making the first two hours of the drive particularly crucial. Bandhavgarh National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife and avifauna, including over 150 bird species. Wildlife highlights include tigers, spotted deer, leopards, sambhar, wild boars, sloth bears and with others. Birdwatchers may spot a variety of species such as the Plum Headed Parakeet, Jungle Babbler, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, White Throated Kingfisher, Black Drongo, Racket Tailed Drongo, Crested Serpent Eagle, Greater Coucal, Red Necked Vulture, and White Rumped Vulture. Additionally, visit Bandhavgarh Fort, which is located inside the park. This historic fort, situated 811 meters above sea level, has 39 caves and is believed to be around 2,000 years old. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park (250 kms/6 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the resort, drive to Kanha National Park, one of Asia’s most well-preserved wildlife sanctuaries. Kanha inspired Rudyard Kipling's famous novel, The Jungle Book. Covering 940 sq. km, the park is home to a variety of wildlife including Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal Tigers, sloth bears, leopards, and barasingha. Check in at your resort upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure—take a walk around, enjoy the verdant landscape, or interact with the park’s naturalist. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 6: Exploring Kanha National Park

Embark on early morning and afternoon jeep safaris to fully experience Kanha National Park. As you traverse the park, marvel at its diverse flora, which includes over 1000 species of flowering plants. Kanha is renowned for its rich wildlife; during your safaris, you may encounter a variety of animals and birds such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, mouse deer, jackal, fox, sambar, peafowl, Indian gaur (Asiatic Bison), wild dogs (Dhole), wild boars, blue bulls, spotted deer, four-horned antelope and others. Keep an eye out for smaller creatures like mongoose, as well as a range of bird species and reptiles, including python, spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihaas, cuckoos, parakeets, and green pigeons. Don’t miss a visit to Bamni Dadar, also known as Sunset Point, a picturesque spot within the park offering stunning views. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 7: Kanha National Park - Jabalpur (160 kms/3.5 hrs drive) - Delhi (By Flight)

After breakfast at the resort, you will be transferred by an Alkof Holidays representative to Jabalpur Airport. Board your flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport, a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and relax for the evening at your leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: New Delhi - Sawai Madhopur (By Train) - Ranthambore (15 kms/40 min's drive)

Early this morning, an Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to Nizamuddin Railway Station to board a train to Sawai Madhopur. On arrival at Sawai Madhopur Railway Station, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your resort in Ranthambore. Enjoy lunch at the resort, and then spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You can take a walk around the area, savor the lush surroundings, or interact with the park's naturalist. Enjoy Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 9: Exploring Ranthambore National Park

Today, immerse yourself in the wildlife wonders of Ranthambore National Park with both morning and afternoon jeep safaris. The park is renowned for its elusive Bengal tigers, and you'll have the chance to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. During your safaris, keep an eye out for a diverse range of wildlife, including leopards, striped hyenas, and various deer species such as sambar and chital. The park is also home to Hanuman langurs, Indian Foxes, nilgai, sloth bears, black bucks, and Indian flying foxes. In addition to mammals, Ranthambore boasts a rich array of reptiles and amphibians. Spot desert monitor lizards, banded kraits, Snub Nosed Marsh Crocodiles, cobras, common kraits, and Indian pythons. The park’s water bodies may reveal Ganga soft-shelled turtles and North Indian flap-shelled turtles. Return to your resort after the day’s adventures. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 10: Ranthambore - Sawai Madhopur (15 kms/40 min's drive) - Delhi (By Train) & Departure

After breakfast at the resort, a representative will transfer you to Sawai Madhopur Railway Station for your train journey to Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi. Upon arrival at Nizamuddin Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative. You can choose to be transferred to your desired location within Delhi or to New Delhi Airport for your onward flight or departure.

Safari access to specific zones is subject to availability. To secure your preferred safari bookings in your desired zones, we recommend booking your tours at least 90 days in advance.
To book your safari, we require a clear photo of the traveler's passport, as mandated by the forest department.
Once safaris are confirmed, the safari fees are non-refundable.
Please carry your original valid passport or ID proof to present at the entry gate for safaris.
Consider wearing light and breathable fabrics in neutral colors (avoiding bright colors) and layering for temperature changes.
Opt for sturdy, comfortable shoes suitable for walking.
Consider bringing a hat and sunglasses for protection from the sun.
