Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival at New Delhi airport, our Alkof Holidays representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to leisurely explore the bustling streets of the city or stroll along its wide, tree-lined boulevards, offering you a first taste of India's vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: At Delhi

Explore Delhi's rich history on a full-day sightseeing tour today. Begin at Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a visit to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi. Drive past the imposing President's House and India Gate in Lutyen's Delhi before visiting Humayun's Tomb, a stunning Mughal architectural marvel commissioned by Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. Day 4: Agra - National Chambal Sanctuary (100 kms/2 hrs drive)

Early in the morning, before sunrise, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Witness the beauty of the Taj Mahal in the serene morning light, followed by a visit to Mehtab Bagh for a panoramic view of the monument from across the Yamuna River. Return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, embark on a journey to the National Chambal Sanctuary, renowned for its biodiversity. This sanctuary is home to critically endangered species like the gharial and the red-crowned roof turtle, as well as the endangered Ganges river dolphin. It is also a vital bird area, hosting at least 320 species of resident and migratory birds. Upon arrival, check-in at the resort and freshen up. Then, head out to the sanctuary for a boat safari on the Chambal River. Accompanied by a wildlife naturalist, cruise along the river to spot some of India's most endangered wildlife, including the gharial, mugger crocodile, various species of turtles, smooth-coated otter, and the freshwater dolphin. Day 5: Chambal Sanctuary - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (130 kms/3 hrs drive)

In the early morning, embark on a serene boat cruise along the Chambal River, where you can observe the Gharial, Mugger crocodile, various turtle species, otters, and the elusive freshwater Dolphin. Return to the resort for a hearty breakfast. Following breakfast, journey to the historic Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a former royal game reserve renowned globally for its avian diversity. Check-in at the resort upon arrival, then enjoy a leisurely rickshaw safari through the sanctuary, encountering over 230 species of resident birds, more than 100 migratory bird species, as well as diverse reptiles, including snakes and lizards, and other fascinating amphibians. Day 6: At Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Day 7: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - Delhi (210 kms/4 hrs drive)

In the early morning, embark on another enriching rickshaw safari through the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to maximize our chances of encountering diverse bird species. Return to the resort for a satisfying breakfast. Following breakfast, our representative will arrange for your transfer to your hotel in Delhi, where you will spend the night.

Day 8: Delhi - Corbett National Park (270 kms/6 hrs drive)

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, depart for Jim Corbett National Park. Upon reaching the park, check-in at the resort. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, whether it's taking a tranquil stroll in the surrounding areas, immersing yourself in the lush green landscapes, or engaging with the park's naturalist. Relax and unwind overnight at the resort.

Day 9: At Jim Corbett National Park

Experience morning and afternoon jeep safaris within Jim Corbett National Park, offering the chance to witness the majestic Bengal Tigers in their natural habitat. Other notable wildlife sightings during the safari include the endangered Asiatic Elephant, Asiatic Black Bear, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Sambar Deer, Sloth Bear, Yellow-throated Marten, and Otters.
