Day 1: Arrival in Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, an Alkof Holidays representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in and relaxing, head out for a local sightseeing tour of Cochin. Explore Fort Kochi’s historic charm, stroll along Marine Drive, visit St. Francis Church, the Dutch Palace, and Santa Cruz Basilica. Discover Bolgatty Island and the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (130 kms/4 hrs drive)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Munnar, Kerala’s picturesque hill station. Along the way, admire beautiful waterfalls and scenic landscapes. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in at your hotel and unwind. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Exploring Munnar

After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day exploring the scenic beauty of Munnar, with its rolling hills and lush tea plantations. Nestled at the confluence of the Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale streams, Munnar is renowned for its verdant landscapes and craggy peaks. This picturesque hill station, once a British summer retreat, offers stunning vistas and tranquil surroundings. Visit local attractions such as Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park to spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat unique to the region. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (100 kms/3.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and take some time to relax. Later, explore Periyar National Park, a lush evergreen forest in the Western Ghats, known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, the park is home to tigers, elephants, lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards, and Indian bison. Optional activities include boating on Periyar Lake and an elephant ride (additional costs apply). Also, visit the nearby spice plantations in Kumily, a charming town known for its spice gardens and scenic beauty. Return to your resort for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Thekkady - Alappuzha (165 kms/5 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the resort, depart for Alappuzha (also known as Alleppey), renowned for its scenic houseboat cruises through the serene Kerala backwaters. Upon arrival, check in to your traditionally decorated houseboat at 1:00 PM and embark on an enchanting overnight cruise, starting with lunch. As you drift through the tranquil canals and lagoons, take in the unique sights of Chinese fishing nets, lush paddy fields, coir-making activities, rustic homes, ancient temples, and swaying coconut groves. In the evening, you have free time to explore the local market of Alappuzha. Enjoy an overnight stay aboard the houseboat.

Day 6: Alappuzha - Kovalam (160 kms/4 hrs drive)

After breakfast on the houseboat, drive to Kovalam. Check in at your resort upon arrival. Later in the afternoon, visit Kovalam Beach to enjoy the Arabian Sea’s waves, the lighthouse, and a beautiful sunset. You can also relax by a bonfire on the beach. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 7: Ayurveda at Kovalam

Enjoy breakfast at the resort before experiencing a range of Ayurvedic treatments provided by the resort’s professionals. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, or visit Kovalam Beach to enjoy the sea, lighthouse, and sunset. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 8: Ayurveda and Leisure in Kovalam

Start your day with a nourishing breakfast at the hotel. Then, unwind with a series of Ayurvedic treatments provided by the resort’s experienced therapists, designed to refresh and rejuvenate you. In the afternoon, you have the option to relax at the resort or head to Kovalam Beach. Enjoy the serene waves of the Arabian Sea, take in the views from the lighthouse, and savor a picturesque sunset. Return to the resort for an overnight stay, continuing your relaxation and enjoyment.

Day 9: Wellness and Relax in Kovalam

Day 10: Kovalam - Trivandrum (40 min's drive) & Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, an Alkof Holidays representative will transfer you to Trivandrum Airport, a short drive away. Board your flight home or to your next destination.
